Paula Fong has crafted a new video for the title song of her new album, Chestnut Mare. The song premiered at Adobe and Teardrops and prompted Paula to say: "I'm so excited to share the Official Music Video of "Chestnut Mare" with you, beautifully shot and edited by the talented Ian McIntire
and premiered by Adobe and Teardrops!! @adobeandteardrops features women, BIPOC, and queer artists in Americana music, and I just happen to proudly belong to all 3 of those communities, so I'm especially touched that Rachel Chlost chose to premiere Chestnut Mare."
The video was a simple one man shoot in Red Rock Canyon Park in Topanga- Shot and edited by Ian McIntire.
Fong is an LA-based Americana/Folk singer-songwriter and a member of Abby Posner's band. With roots in choir and acapella singing, she has explored a wide range of musical genres, from classical to Chinese opera. From 2015 to 2019, she collaborated with Seattle singer-songwriter Tom Kell. Chestnut Mare marks her debut solo project, with the title track inspired by a poem written by her mother.Â
